How many people fit in a tuk tuk?
Our large tuk tuks have two three-seater benches: room for six children or four to five adults. We also have one tuk tuk for three people. Bigger group? We send several tuk tuks at once: tell us how many of you there are and we’ll work out how many you need. Very large groups on request.
How long can you hire a tuk tuk for?
From one hour; we don’t do shorter rides. For a ride around the city most guests choose an hour and a half or two hours, with three hours the maximum. For parties, weddings, events and corporate outings we can also stay with you for half a day or a full day. We drive day and night if you book ahead, and after dark our tuk tuks are lit up.
Hiring a tuk tuk in The Hague and beyond
We drive all over The Hague, from the city centre to Scheveningen and Kijkduin, and also in Rijswijk, Voorburg, Leidschendam, Wassenaar, Delft, Zoetermeer and Leiden. We agree the pick-up point together: by car, the poffertjes stall on the Malieveld; by bus, Hotel Corona on the Buitenhof; by train, The Hague Central station; or simply your hotel, restaurant, wedding venue or office. Our travel time to the pick-up point and back is part of the price.
What if it rains?
We drive anyway: the rain covers go down and there are fleece blankets on board. Only heavy snow keeps the tuk tuks at home.
